So...I am in a married couples small group with my husband (duh) and some friends of mine. We don't do a whole lot other than get together, hang out, and EAT! Here are a few pictures of our yummy food we had tonight!
My goal at the beginning of the year was to post a picture everyday. Well, as the year has gone by I realize how hard that is to do. So instead of giving up, I have decided to do the best I can and post as many pictures and stories as I can. Stay tuned, you never know when one might appear!

Day 43: Blake turns 1!
So, today we went to a Birthday party for my little cousin. He just turned 1 year old! We both got pregnant the same year and she had Blake (Cambell's first cousin her same age) in February and 4 months later Cambell arrived! They had Blake's party at Gimboree and I was super excited to take Cambell. She has never been. It's a fun place with lots of colorful mats and slides & stuff. A lot smaller than I expected which made it feel a little more intimate.
She enjoyed the colors and getting to scoot around. The had circle time and she got a little overwhelmed. Yep...my kid was the crier. But in her defense the lady was a little loud, there were lots of other little babies, and she wasn't feeling good....so, she was a little out of her element. But, all in all I think we might bring her back. It's good for her to do stuff like that.
Here are some/a lot of pictures from that day.

Day 42: Cambell pukes
So, Friday is my day off & this morning I woke up around 8 with Cambell. I was feeding her a bottle and she only drank a few ounces which I thought was kinda weird because usually she downs her bottle in the morning. So she was just sitting in my lap hanging out and I hear her gag.
My first instinct was to put my hand under her mouth to catch the spit up (I am such a mom) BUT my hand had no idea that it was pretty much worthless at that moment. My poor baby girl threw up all over my hand, my lap, on the chair & a little on the floor. So I pick her up and put her in the bathtub and the moment I put her down she thew up again!
We are a mess, so I lay her down on the changing table and she is all smiles & happy...I couldn't have helped but smile back. No, I don't have a picture of the throw up but I do have a picture of all the laundry I did. Little girl laundry is so much more fun than big people laundry! HAHA!

Day 40: She crawls!
So, today during my lunch break I was on the floor with Cambell in her room. She has been teasing us with getting on her knees and looking like she is going to crawl only to rock back and forth or fall back on her belly. She has been doing this for a few weeks now. Well I have been putting thing out of her reach so she would try to get them. She somehow very slowly makes her way to them but it's more like an on your knees, belly flop, that moves her a few inches.
Today, I found this light up toy she likes and I put it at a distance she couldn't reach. I pushed it and it started lighting up and playing music and she looked at me like...I want that mom...and with such determination on her face she started getting up on her knees and moving them and then her hands. She could only move a little bit but every time she fell down she popped back up. She was determined to get the toy.
I woke Josh up from a nap to come see our (very smart) child. I would move it all over the room and she kept attempting to crawl. Sometimes it was an army crawl, sometimes it was a scootch, and sometimes it was a few crawling steps but one thing remained the same, she was determined and she never gave up. I am so proud of my baby girl. She is growing into more and more of an amazing child. God has blessed us greater than words can explain!

Day 39: Couponing
So, yesterday my mom and I went to Publix and I used my coupons. I am still learning but thought I did a pretty good job.
Day 38: Chili Ray Cyrus
So, It's Super Bowl Sunday...I made some Chili Ray Cyrus Bites! For those of you who don't know, Josh and I entered our sweet & spicy chili in a chili cookoff that a few of the small groups did together. We won for the most unique name but lost by 2 points for the overall chili...we got beat out by a Buffilo chili made with all the ingrediants bought from Whole Foods. Understandable...
Well, this time I thought I would try something new. I got the refridgerated bisquet cans and flattened them out, put them in a muffin pan, filled them with the chili, put cheese on top and baked them for 16 mins. Topped with a little sour cream & salsa and YUM! They were a hit!

Day 37: It's a girl...and another girl!
So, today I went to a baby shower for my friend who is having twin girls. I think it's the first baby shower I've been to since Cambell was born. They just keep making cuter and cuter baby girl clothes. She got lots of fun stuff. Here are just a few pictures I took of the shower!

Day 35: NICE!
So, today has been a pretty good day! I needed one after the days and nights I've been having this week. I was very productive today at work and my baby is starting to feel better. She slept through the night and I slept the best I have slept in a long time. She is 8 months old today and getting bigger every day! So fun watching her stages of development. My husband and I went on a date tonight. We went bowling with some friends and I bowled a 155. I got 3 strikes in a roll. Here Turkey, Turkey, Turkey!!! Days like today makes me love my life!
Day 34: Seriously???
So, yesterday I took our baby to the doctor because she hasn't been feeling good and the doctor said she just had a little cold and should be fine...well....not so much. I was up with her till 4:30am!!! She was miserable and you could tell she was in pain!
So, we took her to the doctors and found out she has a double ear infection. NICE! Antibiotic again. Poor baby! Good thing daddy came along. She kept her entertained. No one can make her happy like her daddy. It is so great to see!

Day 33: God is good
So, after having a long night & day with my sick baby I came to church because Tuesday night is when we have our midweek gathering. I am getting stuff ready and look outside and see an orange glow on the side of the building. I go outside and see a beautiful pinkish-orange sunset. This picture does not do it justice but God knows how much I love sunsets and it refeshed my heart a little and made me smile because in that moment I was reminded how much God loves me!
Day 32: Got Milk?
So, my baby is starting to feel sick. She is having a hard time eating anything and the only thing I could get her to have was a little bit of milk. Apparently I shook the bottle too much because this happened...hey, at least she is smiling!
Day 31: Lie to me
So, one of my new favorite shows comes on Monday nights and is called LIE TO ME! It is such a great concept. This guy's job is to read people and solve crimes. He is very witty and a little rough (kinda like House) but it is amazing how much we say or don't say by our expressions and our actions. Josh loved it so much he started to try and "read me"...not fun...but it got me to thinking...what am I saying when I say nothing at all?

Day 30: Home Makeover
So, I am sitting here watching EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION. This show makes me cry every time! This episode was about a teenager who died in a car wreck because she was texting while driving. She had a little sister & her room was the coolest. The bed became a stage when you pulled down her headboard! How creative! I'm taking notes for when Cambell gets older!

Day 36: Lazy Girl!
So, Yia Yia came to visit to help us take care of our sick little girl. I don't think it is possible for her to come without bringing something. Here is Cambell's new toy.
